TWILIGHT OF THE GODS Explained | Netflix Zack Snyder and Jay Oliva tackle Norse Mythology with a new animated series on Netflix called Twilight of the Gods.  The title alone tells us which part of the norse mythology will the story tell: Ragnarok.  The fall of the Gods or Twilight of the Gods.  It will be an epic, brutal, cataclysmic event with the stakes and extent that the MCU's Thor Ragnarok couldn't attain.  As part of Netflix’s Geeked Week, the company announced Snyder’s next project: Twilight Of The Gods, a “Norse mythology-inspired” series that gives Snyder some leeway to play Thor, Loki, and Odin. “It’s my take on Norse mythology,” said Snyder during the Geeked Week live stream. “It’s just going to be unlike anything you’ve seen. In animation, we can do anything we want so fun and fun for all of us. The creatives involved have just been going nuts.”

BLACK SUPERMAN Battles Racism | Editorial

BLACK SUPERMAN   Acclaimed essayist and novelist Ta-Nehisi Coates had been hired to pen the script for a new Superman feature that will be produced by J.J. Abrams.   Regardless if it’s Calvin Ellis, Val Zod, or Clark Kent, with what little we know of this alternate tale to the Superman mythos, we could at least ascertain the type of story that Coates may be weaving for this new Man of Steel.   After news hit that Ta-Nehisi Coates had been tapped to write the new Superman movie, he said, “To be invited into the DC Extended Universe by Warner Bros., DC Films and Bad Robot is an honor. I look forward to meaningfully adding to the legacy of America’s most iconic mythic hero.”   JJ Abrams also added to the statement, “There is a new, powerful and moving Superman story yet to be told. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with the brilliant Mr. Coates to help bring that story to the big screen, and we’re beyond thankful to the team at Warner Bros. for the opportunity.”

Wonder Woman KILLS Superman In JUSTICE LEAGUE 2

Image
WONDER WOMAN KILLS SUPERMAN   Wonder Woman is most commonly depicted as having a romantic relationship with Superman.   However according to Zack Snyder’s original Justice League storyboards drawn by Jim Lee, Wonder Woman appears to end Superman’s life.   Inspired by professional cosplayer Lis Wonder, let’s delve into when and where Diana’s nightmare vision could take place.   Is it during the Knightmare or after Justice League 3.   By the way thanks to this team for the colorization of the original storyboards.   In Zack Snyder’s original storyboards, there is a passage of time during Justice League 2 where each hero go their separate ways. They go back to their individual lives to mend old wounds.   At the Louvre in Paris, Diana and Menalippe   discover there may be a way to “remember” the path back to Themyscira.   Diana must use the lasso on herself to unlock her mind.   It’s a dangerous process, but Diana wants to help Menalippe home – and Diana wants to see her mo

Tomb Raider is a 2018 British-American action adventure film based on the 2013 video game of the same name, with some elements of its sequel by Crystal Dynamics, and is a reboot and the third installment in the Tomb Raider film series first began with Angelina Jolie in the title role. The film stars Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft, who embarks on a perilous journey to her father's last-known destination, hoping to solve the mystery of his disappearance.   Despite most critics not loving the new Tomb Raider movie and the film grossing only $275 million at the global box office, the Tomb Raider sequel is finally making moves.     MGM has set Misha Green to write and make her feature directorial debut on the next Tomb Raider, which has Alicia Vikander set to reprise her role as Lara Croft. Transformers Rise Of The Beasts MASSIVE DEBUT!

Transformers is a series of American science fiction action films based on the Transformers franchise which began in the 1980s.     Michael Bay has directed the first five films: Transformers (2007), Revenge of the Fallen (2009), Dark of the Moon (2011), Age of Extinction (2014), and The Last Knight (2017).   Paramount Pictures decided they needed a fresh start with a soft reboot prequel film, Bumblebee, directed by Travis Knight and produced by Bay, that was released on December 21, 2018.   Now the Transformers franchise is transforming into something beastly.   This is coming from The Hollywood Reporter.   The seventh installment will be titled Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Paramount revealed during a virtual press event to celebrate the beginning of production.   That name will be evocative to fans of the 1990s cartoon Beast Wars, which centered on a group of robots that took animal form.   The two main factions of Beast Wars are descendants of the two main f

THE FLASH Convinced Them To Return To The DCEU

The Flash movie, which is planned for release in November 2022, will feature Barry Allen, played by Ezra Miller, crashing into various parallel dimensions, where he’ll encounter slightly different versions of DC’s classic heroes. It’s an adaptation of DC’s 2011 Flashpoint series of comic book crossovers, directed by Andy Muschietti, the filmmaker behind the recent adaptations of Stephen King’s It and It Chapter Two.   Fans are mixed.   Snyder fans are afraid that The Flash will destroy the Snyderverse, others Hope that Muschiettis will include the Snyderverse, and other Fans simply want a new universe.   I however find it rather interesting that Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, Zack’s frequent VFX collaborators, all express enthusiasm on working on this project.   Kiersey Clemons was included as well despite not even showing up in Joss Whedon’s 2017 Justice League.   Last year, fans were surprised that Ben Affleck was returning to the role of Batman in The Flash movie.   Th

The Sequel To SUPERMAN RETURNS | Editorial

Image
As an avid Superman fan, I’ve had time to reflect on Superman films that were never made.   One of those abandoned films was the sequel to Superman Returns, an epic action oriented world-destroying SUPERMAN: MAN OF STEEL.   In February 2006, four months before the release of Superman Returns, Warner Bros. announced a mid-2009 theatrical release date for a sequel, with Bryan Singer reprising his directing duties. Brandon Routh, Kate Bosworth, Kevin Spacey, Sam Huntington, Frank Langella, and Tristan Lake Leabu were to reprise their roles.   Writer Michael Dougherty wanted the sequel to be "action packed", featuring "other Kryptonians".   The title would’ve been titled SUPERMAN: MAN OF STEEL.     In Superman Returns, Lex Luthor found a way to use Kryptonian technology to create a large land mass which served as the primary threat that Superman is forced to deal with in the movie. To stop the land mass from spreading and taking over the planet, Superman manages

Toby Emmerich Is Unfit To Lead Warner Bros | Editorial

T oby Emmerich is an American producer, film executive, screenwriter and the current chairman of the Warner Bros. Pictures Group.   Despite his successful tenure at New Line Cinema before taking over control of Warner Bros, his decisions at Warner Bros have been questionable and costly to its parent company WarnerMedia.   Citing multiple trade reports from Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and The Wrap, this is why-   TOBY EMMERICH IS UNFIT TO LEAD WARNER BROS   JOKER   In 2016, director Todd Phillips conceived Joker, a psychologicial thriller based on the popular DC villain, weaving an alternate origin story for the character.   Former Warner Bros Picture Group President of Worldwide Marketing, Blair Rich was a huge fan of what Phillips came up and pushed to greenlight the project.   However, Film studio chief Emmerich was not a fan of the project.   Emmerich lowballed on the budget to discourage director Todd Phillips from making it, and when Todd Phillips persisted, E
